FMC Children

At First Mennonite Church we are committed to helping you raise your children “in the training and instruction of the Lord.” We offer several ministries in which caring leaders and helpers guide the children to love, know and serve God. These ministries for the  children include:

Sunday School 
9:15 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. 
Sunday

The children engage in great lessons from the Bible which aim to grow them as lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ.

New Generation Worship 
10:30 a.m. - 11:30a.m. 
Sunday

Kindergarten – 8th grade students begin worship with the entire congregation in the sanctuary. Later they are dismissed to continue worship in a setting especially designed for them.

KID’Z Zone 
6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. 
Wednesday  (October to April)

This is an opportunity to grow stronger in their walk with Christ and build friendships through interactive large group participation, small group time, creative dramas, music and special activities. 

Vacation Bible School
6:30 p.m to 8:00 p.m.
Monday - Thursday (August)

For one week every summer we focus our complete attention on VBS. Children ages 4 years thru 6th grade participate as we share God’s truth with Bible lessons, drama, music, crafts, interactive learning, games, snacks and age-appropriate service projects.

Menno Haven Camp

The camp is located one hour north of Morton and provides Christian summer camping experiences. Learn more about the camp at http://mennohaven.com/ .
