We conclude this series on an overview of prayer from Jesus and the New Testament by looking at the final sections of Jesus' 'High Priestly Prayer.' Today, we specifically look at Jesus' prayer of unity among His disciples.
Jesus invites his disciples to 'always pray' but how realistic is that? As this series continues, we take some time to better understand how to live a life of prayerfulness - and how God can use that for His glory.
How closely ought praise and worship be connected to our habits of prayer? We consider this question by first listening to Mennonites in Ukraine, Indonesia and Kenya and their habits of prayer. Then we return to highlight Jesus' emphasis on praise at the beginning of the Lord's Prayer.
Why should Christians prayer? Jesus commands us to pray and we know that it's helps us draw near to God, and yet those two reasons don't compel many Christians to spend time on their knees. Therefore, we dig into the 'will of God' at the beginning of this series and look at how our faith and dependency upon the Lord affects how and when He works among His people.
