Family Prayer Spotlight
In James 5:16 we are called to “pray for one another.” Praying for one another is a powerful way to support and uplift each other. As a church family, we want to unite in prayer to love on our congregation. This week we ask that you pray for Jim and Judy Wheat.
Parsonage Needs
We need to furnish our parsonage for a Strategic Interim Pastor. If you have any of the following items you could donate, please reach out to Whitney Carver at 309-267-8108. Items needed: air fryer, TV, lamps, end tables, armchair/recliner, and small dining room table and chairs.
We Care Food Pantry ~ June
During June, First Mennonite Church is collecting canned meat (especially canned chicken) for We Care Food Pantry. There are baskets in the family center lobby for you to drop off your donations. Thank you!
IL Mennonite Relief Sale Coffee For Sale
The 2026 Illinois Mennonite Relief Sale Board again sends special appreciation to everyone who helped in any way with our 67th Sale. At this time, we have both regular and decaf available. If you are interested, please contact the President, Brian Veeder at 309-262-4296. The Sale Board also wishes to remind you that we are planning a fall sausage sale before Thanksgiving. More details will follow later. God bless everyone!
