Leadership

Pastor Andrew brings a wealth of experience in church leadership and a heart deeply rooted in shepherding congregations through seasons of transition. His role is on guiding the church prayerfully and intentionally as we seek God's direction for the future.

J.D. has been a part of FMC for many years and faithfully served the church in many leadership roles. J.D. and his wife Joan have raised 5 boys. J.D. is retired from General Power Construction. He is an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and loves fishing. 

Tim is a life long FMC attender and has served in many leadership roles in the church throughout the years. Tim is a Senior Account Director with Envision Insurance Group.  He and his wife Faith live in Morton. Tim enjoy spending time with family, traveling, & the outdoors. 

Todd has been a member of FMC for over 30 years. He has serve multiple terms on the church board, stewardship commission, and as an Elder. He is the owner/president of Leander Construction, Inc., a general contractor focusing on commercial construction. He enjoys traveling with his wife Sarah, hang out at the pool in the summer and spending time with his grandkids.  

Mike Yordy is a life long attender of FMC. He has served in many leadership positions at First Mennonite. He also sat of the board for the Illinois Mennonite Relief sale for multiple years. He owns and operates his own business, Mike Yordy Excavating, and also farms with his family. Any spare free time is spend with his wife Holly, and two children Tripp & Chloe

Jayne has been a participant and member of FMC her whole life and has
served in many capacities.  Jayne has 3 children and 6 grandchildren.  She
enjoys spending time with family, attending grandchildren's sporting
activities, and traveling. 

Belle has been attending FMC for 15+ years and serves on the Worship Team, Evangelism Committee, and Nurture Committee. She has 5+ years in 501(c)3 bookkeeping, and also holds a BA in Music Education from Eastern Illinois University. Her husband (Maxwell) and children (Hugo, Judah, & Lenita) are the light of her life. When she is not spending time with them, she enjoys gardening, canning, and watching The Great British Bake Off!

Maxwell has been attending FMC for 5+ years and also holds the positions of Director of Bands in Princeville, IL and Bass Trombonist for the River Valley Big Band. He is an innate conversationalist, engaging people of all ages with ease. Other interests include videogames, music arranging, and cooking for his beloved wife (Belle) and three children (Hugo, Judah, & Lenita).
